Training Opportunities
District Leadership Training
Every Scout Leader should be trained. It is required that each den has two trained leaders. Each Den Leader and at least two other adult leaders should be trained so that we maintain our quality pack status and have the sufficient depth to run an effective pack. Youth Protection Training is required.
Protecting God's Children
The Catholic diocese requires all adults involved with youth to participate in this training. Many opportunities are available. Register at http://www.virtusonline.org (password = trust)
Roundtable - A lot of helpful program information is provided, and there are breakout session for Tiger leaders, den leaders, Webelos leaders, and pack administration.
We ask that each den leader attend at least three 3 Round Table meetings. This is an important part of our adult leader training and all should support effort. It also enables us to achieve our Quality Pack Award. It is also an excellent place to learn and grow in Scouting..
